Federal R&D Tax Credit Received
SYDNEY, Jan. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Benitec Biopharma Limited (ASX: BLT; NASDAQ: BNTC; NASDAQ: BNTCW) advises that it has received a $4,112,058 cash refund for the year ended 2017 under the Federal Government's R&D Tax Incentive Scheme.
The refund relates to the costs of research and development which qualify as eligible R&D expenditure under the Federal Government's Scheme. The funds will be used to advance Benitec's human therapeutic programs in gene silencing.
